They leave you in the dark

they expect your forgiveness

they stab you in the back

the hope you wont feel it

they turn on you

they hope you wont notice

Like I’m blind

you don’t mind

hurting me

so let me be

It is different then your average, “the sky is blue, the clouds are grey” poem. When you read the first line it reals you in so you’re hooked. You just want to read the whole thing, because it takes you on a ride. You could imagine you were that bird.
